NO FEELING IS FINAL, but surely enough this EP is bound to gift you many of those.

From start to finish it feels like a journey filled with musical nuances and delicate gestures. We set off with the intimate and hooky guitar riffs of "Between Us" and "Haze", pacing to the bouncy rhythm of "Timings" and continuing on our path through reversed samples of the more electronic sounding "Look Up". Before we know it the slightly broken, downtempo feel of "Erase Me" hits and leads us right at the top of a beautiful destination, where we are able to appreciate the feeling of space and grandness delivered by "Flat Skylines".

Dokkodo Sounds is the moniker of Thomas Trueman. The Dokkodo (The Way of Walking Alone), was written by one of the greatest swordsmen in 1645 Japan, Miyamoto Musashi. He wrote the book in preparation for his own death, and it contains 21 precepts on how to best live your life.
